Description:

• We are looking for a highly qualified Senior SRE Engineer to join our international team, with collaborators in LATAM, for a cloud infrastructure project from scratch on Azure for a multinational company. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud systems, working closely with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and other technical profiles to ensure a robust and efficient infrastructure.
• Responsibilities:
  • System Reliability: Design and maintain highly available and scalable systems, minimizing downtime and interruptions.
  • Monitoring and Alerts: Implement and manage monitoring solutions, anomaly detection, and alerts to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management and deployment, improving efficiency and reducing the risk of manual errors.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response, ensuring quick and effective resolution, as well as conducting post-mortem analysis to prevent future issues.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, working closely with development and operations teams.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that practices and configurations meet security standards and applicable regulations.
  • Documentation and Continuous Improvement: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of systems and processes, proposing and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside cloud architects, DevOps engineers, data specialists, and performance QA to ensure effective integration and operation of the infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering roles.
  • Specific experience with Azure is highly desired.
• Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or SRE practices.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and related tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and global teams.
  • Proactive and continuous improvement-oriented approach.
  • Languages: Proficiency in technical English and Spanish.
