Description:

  • The Insights Analyst, Lead Analyst, Enterprise Data and Analytics will be part of the "Expand" team, focusing on developing data visualizations and self-service analytics solutions.
  • This role supports the global enterprise data & analytics (EDNA) platform and Lighthouse reports.
  • The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data rules, business logic, and reporting needs to create dashboards and self-service analytics layers.
  • Responsibilities include developing analytical dashboards that provide actionable insights across various business functions.
  • The position requires incorporating visualization best practices to highlight important information and drive actions.
  • The analyst will anticipate the needs of business teams to effectively meet those needs through data visualizations.
  • Development of self-service semantic layers for ad-hoc analytics with key stakeholders is also a key duty.
  • Close collaboration with data engineers and architects is necessary to ensure metrics include governed and certified definitions.
  • The analyst will facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders to clarify data and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in BI and dashboard development is required, with in-depth knowledge of data governance, visualization, and business intelligence functions.
  • At least 2 years of experience with multiple analytics/visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, or Sigma Computing is necessary.
  • Flexibility in adapting to the needs of the team and organization is essential.
  • Experience managing the ingestion and modeling of business application data sources like Salesforce, Oracle Suite, and Jira is a plus.
  • Comfort in working within an agile team and familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools including Jira, Confluence, and Github is required.
  • Working experience with DevOps best practices and version control policies and platforms, such as Git, is necessary.
  • The ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and business stakeholders is essential, along with strong written and verbal presentation skills.
