Remote Intermediate Data Engineer

Description:

• The Intermediate Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient data pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
• Key responsibilities include working with SQL, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring data quality, and troubleshooting data-related issues.
• Qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with SQL, DBT, and Snowflake, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Python, data modeling, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with SQL and its application in data processing.
• Familiarity with DBT and Snowflake.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of writing clean, maintainable code and following coding patterns and best practices.
• Knowledge of Python or another programming language.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
