Remote Intermediate DevOps Engineer

We invite a skilled, autonomous, and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and dive into the dynamic world of the Point-of-Sale (POS) domain.
In this role, you’ll work with one of the top companies in the POS industry, which holds a prominent position within Global Payments Inc. and partners with leading QSR chains like Burger King and Wendy's.
You will use your DevOps expertise to help maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems while also supporting infrastructure growth and implementing process improvements.
Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth operational support for engineering teams, performing regular infrastructure maintenance, supporting and enhancing release and deployment processes, upgrading and modernizing infrastructure, participating in on-call rotations for production support, implementing ongoing security improvements, automating existing processes, and building infrastructure components for new projects.

You must have 2+ years of recent DevOps/SysAdmin experience.
Practical experience with databases such as SQL and MongoDB is required.
Hands-on experience with containerization and infrastructure management tools like Kubernetes, ECS, Terraform, and Docker is necessary.
You should have experience with AWS or GCP and CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
Experience with Git is essential.
You must have experience in technical support and be willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
An upper-intermediate English level is required.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
You should demonstrate self-organization, proactivity, stress resilience, and a strong motivation to learn and grow independently.
Desirable skills include scripting experience in Bash or Python, information security expertise, and experience in disaster recovery and failover implementation.
