Description:

• We invite a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build high-quality software for our client, a major player in the payment processing industry serving over 275,000 U.S. businesses.
• You will use your DevOps expertise to streamline development workflows, enhance infrastructure reliability, and support a seamless transition from Azure to GCP, contributing to scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• In this role, you'll support several teams by applying your DevOps skills and GCP knowledge to various projects, including cloud-to-cloud migration, automation, and system optimization.
• Key responsibilities include supporting the migration from Azure to GCP, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, creating and managing Terraform scripts for infrastructure, working with Kubernetes and Docker to manage containerized applications, monitoring and optimizing GCP and Kubernetes environments for performance, helping create and maintain detailed project-related documentation, and providing GCP expertise to ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

• You must have 3+ years of DevOps experience, with strong GCP skills.
• Proficiency in Terraform is required.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
• A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, particularly Jenkins, is essential.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and version control tools is expected.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python are required.
• Familiarity with networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices is important.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience is necessary.
• You should possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
• An upper-intermediate English level is required.
• The ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies is essential.
• Familiarity with the Azure cloud platform and experience with cloud migrations, especially from Azure to GCP, are desirable.
