Description:
The Intermediate Full Stack Developer position is located in Canada, with options for remote or hybrid work.
This is a permanent, full-time role within the R&D - Data Infrastructure department, reporting to the VP of Data & Solutions Engineering.
The developer will be part of a team that builds and manages over 300 integrations to various data systems, which are essential for Solink’s data analytics platform.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining backend systems, contributing to both backend and frontend development using Node.js, React, and Serverless frameworks, and collaborating with architects and cross-functional teams.
The role involves participating in design and planning meetings, managing tasks using Jira, supporting customer success teams, and researching new technologies to improve product performance.
The developer is expected to be a team player, helping the team achieve goals and uphold Solink’s culture of quality and collaboration.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3–5 years of software development experience and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong collaboration skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers, product managers, and leadership.
Experience in building and deploying applications using AWS services such as Lambda, VPC, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS, and Kinesis is required.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is essential, along with experience in delivering clean, efficient code across full stack applications.
Practical experience in designing and maintaining serverless infrastructure is a must, as well as familiarity with data warehousing tools like Snowflake.
Candidates should be comfortable managing work in Jira and participating in agile ceremonies.
Independent work ethic is important, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and move initiatives forward.
Nice-to-have skills include frontend experience with React, familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, experience with SQL/NoSQL systems, knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, and comfort with multiple programming languages.
