Description:

Certn is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer for a 6-month contract position, focused on building and scaling innovative solutions.
The role involves participating in all software development activities within an Agile team, including estimating, sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation creation.
Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality software delivery that meets customer needs and aligns with technical architecture and development standards.
The engineer will collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members, working closely with database, back-end, and front-end stacks.
Key tasks include developing well-written code, assisting in integrated unit tests, monitoring code and products in a live environment, and producing thorough documentation.
The engineer will also work on immediate bugs, participate in peer reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with product managers for project clarity.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong understanding of relational databases and their application in software development.
Proficiency in Python and React is required, along with proficiency in TypeScript.
A basic understanding of REST APIs and their role in web development is necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience in software development with a focus on delivering high-quality software is required.
Candidates should have experience working on at least one feature end-to-end and on both back-end and front-end codebases.
Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications or working with AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, TensorFlow) is preferred.
