An Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer is needed in Canada or the United States.
The role involves developing fintech, travel, eCommerce, and/or superapp products.
Responsibilities include frontend development with React and backend development using Python/Node microservices.
The engineer will build features, services, and databases, focusing on deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
Collaboration across teams is essential to improve user experiences and contribute to business metrics.
Key accountabilities include building and shipping projects end-to-end, owning the design and maintenance of features, participating in cross-functional projects, conducting experiments for data-driven decisions, troubleshooting issues, and managing deployments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 1 year of backend experience with Python or Node and 1 year with modern frontend JS frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
Experience with web services and modern web technologies is required.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration within an agile team and with stakeholders.
Candidates should be comfortable in a startup environment focused on learning, growth, and impact.
Proficiency in both backend and frontend development is required, with flexibility to work on either based on interest and project needs.
Familiarity with additional technologies such as Docker, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake is a bonus.
