The SaaS Ops Systems Team is dedicated to designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient systems to enhance organizational productivity and streamline operations.
As an Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring systems are highly reliable, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities include maintaining uptime and performance of systems, automating processes, and implementing best practices in site reliability and system administration.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture and drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include administering Linux networks, setting up servers and services in both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, and continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Requirements:

Experience administering Linux networks, preferably Ubuntu or other Debian-based distributions.
Experience in setting up servers and services in both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and systems, including Puppet, Nagios, and Splunk.
Experience with VMware administration and maintenance enhancements.
Familiarity with iSCSI Storage Administration in a HPE Nimble environment is a plus.
Dell Hardware experience in an on-premise environment is required.
Deep understanding of Debian-based Linux distributions, including configurations, file systems, and management.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl for task automation.
Strong grasp of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, and routing.
Knowledge of Linux security protocols and practices to ensure system integrity and data protection.
Ability to use monitoring tools to analyze system performance and optimize resources.
Expertise in implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies for data protection.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

The base salary for this position ranges from $117,000 to $126,000 per year, not overtime eligible.
The salary range reflects the target for new hire salaries across all US locations, determined by job-related skills, knowledge, and relevant experience.
