Remote Intermediate Software Developer - Developer Platform Team

Description:

• Vidyard is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join the Developer Platform team, working remotely in Canada.
• The Developer Platform team focuses on Infrastructure and Developer Experience pillars to support the business.
• Responsibilities include accelerating coding with AI-powered tools, optimizing code review and CI/CD processes, enablement and documentation, developer support rotation, and framework application.
• The role involves identifying pain points, designing solutions, and collaborating with product teams to enhance developer workflows.
• The tech stack includes Git, GitHub Actions, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vue.js, Node.js, and more.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience with expertise in cloud development environments and CI/CD practices.
• Experience or interest in integrating AI-based tools to improve developer workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address developer workflow pain points effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for creating clear documentation and facilitating enablement sessions.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, adapt to feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of industry trends in developer experience and tooling.
• Commitment to supporting fellow developers through effective communication and participation in the rotation program.
