Remote Intermediate Software Engineer (Angular, TypeScript) - OP01746

Description:

• We invite a talented Software Engineer with strong Angular skills to join our team.
• In this role, you'll help develop and maintain a vital component of our client’s flagship product – a robust POS solution for restaurant and food service management.
• This solution is designed to operate in the offline-proof mode, creating orders, synchronizing with cloud and on-premise systems, supporting third-party software, and integrating with diverse hardware devices.
• You will participate in the development of new product features and provide maintenance/refactoring of existing functionality.
• Your responsibilities will include identifying, investigating, and resolving software defects in the live production environment.
• You will also participate in requirements gathering and planning meetings, collaborate with team members to discuss, approve, and implement technical decisions, and proactively evaluate technical solutions while reporting potential risks.
• Communication with stakeholders on the client side to address technical concerns and provide updates will also be part of your role.

Requirements:

• You must have 2+ years of recent hands-on development experience with Angular (17+) on commercial projects.
• A solid knowledge of TypeScript is required.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and SQLite is necessary.
• You should be able to handle basic development tasks independently with mentor support.
• An upper-intermediate+ English level is essential.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills are required.
• You should be open to asking questions, discussing blockers, and seeking clarification.
• A demonstrated proactivity, a growth-oriented mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning are important.
• Familiarity with Cordova and Electron, experience with Java and Objective-C, and a basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP, UDP) are desirable.
• Familiarity with Ionic and Capacitor (especially for POS), experience with Kibana for log monitoring, and familiarity with Amazon S3 are also beneficial.
• Experience working on large enterprise projects with teams of 10+ developers is a plus.
