Jobber is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join their Software Engineering team, focusing on backend technology.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering features that meet customer needs, writing and maintaining clean and scalable code, and participating in code reviews.

Requirements:
Candidates must have proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is required.
A structured understanding of common backend frameworks, technologies, and patterns is necessary.
Experience with observability tools such as DataDog is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as part of a team is important.
It is beneficial to have experience with the development stack including React, React Native, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails.
Familiarity with GraphQL API Layer and its optimization, as well as experience with scalable distributed systems and background processing frameworks, is a plus.
