The position is for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Node.js expertise to collaborate with a leader in the Point-of-Sale industry, whose flagship product has over 100,000 global installations.
The role involves contributing to a new initiative focused on creating data mapping between diverse menu order systems and integrating two distinct APIs to ensure seamless and accurate data transfer.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, as well as collaborating with teams to define project requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial experience in backend software development is required.
Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript is essential.
Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, Autoscaling, and CloudWatch is necessary.
Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs is required.
Experience in writing and executing test cases to ensure code quality through best practices is needed.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes is required.
The ability to work independently, resolve complex issues, and deliver solutions is essential.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are necessary.
An upper-intermediate level of English is required.
Familiarity with MongoDB and experience with Angular or React Native are desirable.
