We invite a Senior Software Engineer with strong Node.js expertise to collaborate with a trusted leader in the Point-of-Sale industry, whose flagship product has over 100,000 global installations.
In this role, you will contribute to our client’s new initiative focused on creating data mapping between diverse menu order systems and integrating two distinct APIs to ensure seamless and accurate data transfer.
You will integrate key systems for a global tech platform offering robust solutions for the restaurant and food service industry.
You will boost your critical thinking and problem-solving skills while tackling complex challenges in a high-dependency environment.
You will grow your expertise in API integration, data mapping, and data transformation.

Requirements:

You must have 3+ years of hands-on commercial experience in backend software development.
Strong expertise with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript is required.
Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, Autoscaling, CloudWatch) is necessary.
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs is essential.
You should have experience in writing and executing test cases, ensuring code quality through best practices.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes is required.
You must be able to work independently, resolve complex issues, and deliver solutions.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are necessary.
An upper-intermediate English level is required.
Familiarity with MongoDB and experience with Angular or React Native are desirable.

You will receive 30 paid rest days per year to use as holidays/vacation/other on the desired and requested dates.
