Wealthsimple is seeking an Intern for Software Development for Summer 2025, offering a remote position.

Internships last between 4 to 8 months and are available to co-op and non-co-op students, as well as recent graduates.
Interns will contribute to projects that are transforming financial services for Canadians and will receive mentorship and support from their teams.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp, or be recent graduates within 6 months of graduation.
Interns should be available to work full-time hours and must reside in Canada.
Wealthsimple employs a microservice architecture and an agile approach, deploying code over 100 times a day.

Availability for a 4-month internship term from May to August 2025 is required.
Familiarity with microservice architecture, Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin, and frontend technologies like React/Angular is preferred.
Knowledge of AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, SQS, SNS, S3, and Kafka is beneficial.
