Remote iOS Engineer

Description:

• The Mobile Core team is essential for the infrastructure and core features of the mobile apps, including video playback.
• As an iOS Engineer on Mobile Core, the role emphasizes developer velocity, user experience, and high standards for app quality and performance.
• Responsibilities include building frameworks, driving their adoption, prioritizing projects, defining best practices, identifying opportunities for productivity, and mentoring other engineers.
• The position allows for remote work or work from offices in San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, or New York City.

Requirements:

• A BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of industry iOS development experience using Swift.
• Experience in communicating complex technical problems to both technical and business audiences is necessary.
• Proficiency with iOS specific development tools such as XCode, SwiftUI, CocoaPods, Firebase, or Swift Package Manager is required.
• Experience in leading large scale engineering projects with multiple stakeholders is essential.
