Description:

  • The Software Engineer II, iOS position at LTK involves playing a crucial role in iOS development for the Creator Content team.
  • The job entails working on projects related to iOS, collaborating with the product and design team, and ensuring precise execution of designs with flawless animation.
  • Responsibilities include architecting the code base, ensuring proper documentation and testing, releasing apps to the App Store, and devising platform-specific features leveraging the iOS SDK.
  • The role involves working on the LTK Consumer App and LTK Creator App, which are used by millions of users and content creators, driving revenue for retailers and offering earnings to creators.
  • The position requires proficiency in Swift or Objective-C, mastery of UIKit, CoreData, Auto Layout, Core Animation, SwiftUI experience, and interacting with RESTful network services efficiently.
  • Candidates should have expertise in application architecture, unit testing, concurrency, performance tuning, and familiarity with tools like Xcode and Instruments.
  • The ideal candidate should have a growth mindset, prioritize tasks effectively, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and be open to feedback.

Requirements:

  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a focus on iOS development.
  • Experience in shipping high-profile iOS applications and having at least one live app on the App Store.
  • 4+ years of experience in mobile development and with the iOS SDK.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, documented, and tested code.
  • Strong skills in dependency injection, asynchronous flow management, and unit testing with XCTest or other iOS testing frameworks.
  • Expertise in GDC, performance tuning, memory optimization, and tools like Xcode and Instruments.
