Description:

  • Yassir, a leading super App in the Maghreb region, is expanding its services to include financial services in addition to ride-hailing and last-mile delivery.
  • The company operates in 45 cities across Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, France, Canada, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Backed by approximately $200M in funding from VCs worldwide, including Silicon Valley and Europe.
  • Seeking an iOS Engineer to join the tech hub and support growth and expansion.
  • Responsibilities include designing and building mobile applications using the iOS (swift) platform, ensuring performance and quality, collaborating with the team to ship new features, identifying and fixing bugs, and maintaining code quality.
  • The role involves working with the engineering and design teams to understand end-user requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Ideal candidates will have over 4 years of iOS app development experience, with at least 2 years in iOS (swift) native, familiarity with cloud message APIs, and experience with web architecture, version control, and micro-services.
  • Nice-to-have experience includes working with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis server, scaling, web load balancing, and fintech space experience.
  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Over 4 years of iOS app development experience, with at least 2 years in iOS (swift) native
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Knowledge of web architecture, Rest and restful APIs, micro-services
  • Experience with version control using GIT
  • Nice-to-have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis server, scaling, web load balancing, and fintech space experience
  • BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field
