Remote iOS Engineer III, Feeds/Business Experience

Description:

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to implement product and business strategies and develop innovative features for user satisfaction.
• Engage in the complete development process including technical design, coding, testing, analysis, and launch, while providing feedback on code, design, and product specifications.
• Contribute to a team of dynamic engineers, establish standards to enhance developer workflows, suggest best practices, and mentor junior team members for their technical growth.
• Continuously enhance both technical and non-technical skills.

Requirements:

• Hold a BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing user-facing iOS mobile applications at scale using Swift.
• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices like testing, design documentation, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver projects on time.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams and explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Display an entrepreneurial spirit, being self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented in fast-paced environments.
• Possess software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Rust).
• Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the capability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a bonus.
