The IoT Data Analyst will analyze and interpret IoT data to provide key insights that drive decision-making and innovation.
This role involves collaborating with IoT developers, data scientists, and product teams to process and analyze data from connected devices.
The analyst will help unlock the potential of IoT data in various industries, including smart cities, industrial automation, and healthcare.
Key responsibilities include processing large datasets from IoT devices, identifying trends and anomalies, and providing actionable insights.
The analyst will create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Developing predictive models and algorithms to enhance operational efficiency and monitor IoT system performance is also a critical part of the role.
Ensuring data quality and integrity through validation and cleansing processes is essential for accurate insights.
Requirements:
Strong experience in analyzing large datasets, particularly IoT data from sensors, devices, and networks, is required.
A solid understanding of IoT architectures, devices, and data protocols is necessary.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is essential for creating insightful reports and dashboards.
Experience with programming languages like Python or R, and familiarity with data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is required.
Strong communication skills are needed to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, particularly with IoT data, is necessary.
Experience with machine learning models and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
