Description:

  • The IoT Solutions Architect will design scalable and secure IoT ecosystems that drive innovation in various sectors such as smart cities, industrial automation, and connected products.
  • This role involves leading the architecture of end-to-end IoT solutions, integrating hardware, cloud platforms, and data analytics to create intelligent systems.
  • The architect will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and product managers to design IoT architectures that integrate devices, networks, edge computing, and cloud platforms.
  • Responsibilities include architecting comprehensive IoT solutions, creating detailed solution architectures and technical specifications, and leading the integration of edge computing solutions.
  • The architect will ensure IoT security and compliance by designing robust security frameworks and optimizing system performance for large volumes of data and connected devices.
  • The role also involves innovating IoT solutions for smart cities, industrial IoT, healthcare, and connected homes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions, with deep knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), hardware components, and cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT) is required.
  • Strong expertise in edge computing, cloud services, and hybrid architectures is necessary, along with the ability to process data at the edge and integrate it with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in IoT environments, including encryption and device authentication, is essential for compliance with data privacy and industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to design scalable IoT systems that support large numbers of connected devices and manage high data volumes is required.
  • Strong leadership skills are necessary to guide cross-functional teams through the IoT development process and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in IoT architecture being highly valued.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions is required, along with proven experience integrating IoT devices with cloud platforms.
