A partner company is seeking an IS Data Engineer located in Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Montana, or Wisconsin.
The IS Data Engineer will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines that transform raw data into high-quality datasets for analysts and data scientists.
This role involves automating and streamlining data flow to ensure accessibility and security while enabling advanced analytics and machine learning.
The position requires collaboration with multiple teams to meet data needs and support business goals through innovative data engineering solutions.
Key accountabilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing workflows, collaborating with business analysts, managing large-scale datasets, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and applying DevOps and DataOps principles.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, including database design and ETL development.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with RDBMS technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake is required.
Familiarity with Azure data tools, including Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, and Monitor, is necessary.
A solid understanding of data warehousing, data lifecycle, and analytics architectures is essential.
Hands-on experience with large datasets and multi-source data integration is required.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau, as well as cloud platforms, is important.
Experience in healthcare or managed care data environments is a plus.
