Description:

• The IT and Security Engineer will provide daily IT support to ensure smooth business operations.
• Responsibilities include managing all hardware and software inventories.
• The engineer will manage the Single Sign-On (SSO) Identity Management solution.
• They will oversee the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.
• The role involves maintaining and supporting the email security protection solution.
• The engineer will assist with business-related queries regarding SaaS applications.
• They will support and maintain the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) system.
• The engineer will facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• They will manage integrations among various SaaS applications.

• The engineer will conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• They will deploy and manage security tools, including SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDPS, and WAF.
• The engineer will ensure security tools are properly configured and maintained for optimal effectiveness.
• They will monitor security alerts and events to detect and mitigate potential threats.
• The role involves maintaining and tuning security monitoring systems to ensure peak performance.
• The engineer will participate in incident response activities, including investigating and analyzing security incidents.
• They will document and report security incidents and assist with remediation efforts.
• The engineer will conduct assessments of vendors and supply chain partners to ensure their security practices align with company standards.
• They will develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor risk management program.
• The role includes securing cloud environments by implementing industry best practices and security controls.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 1 year in cybersecurity or related fields is necessary.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Firewall, IDPS, and WAF is essential.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI DSS, and other relevant regulatory frameworks is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.
• An eagerness to learn and acquire new skills is important.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are required.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
