Description:

• The IT and Security Engineer will provide daily IT support to ensure smooth business operations.
• Responsibilities include managing all hardware and software inventories.
• The role involves managing the Single Sign-On (SSO) Identity Management solution.
• The engineer will oversee the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.
• They will maintain and support the email security protection solution.
• The position requires assisting with business-related queries regarding SaaS applications.
• The engineer will support and maintain the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) system.
• They will facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• The role includes managing integrations among various SaaS applications.
• The engineer will support compliance efforts with SOC 2, PCI DSS, and other relevant regulations.
• The position involves conducting security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• The engineer will deploy and manage security tools, including SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDPS, and WAF.
• They will ensure security tools are properly configured and maintained for optimal effectiveness.
• The role requires monitoring security alerts and events to detect and mitigate potential threats.
• The engineer will maintain and tune security monitoring systems to ensure peak performance.
• They will participate in incident response activities, including investigating and analyzing security incidents.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 1 year in cybersecurity or related fields is necessary.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Firewall, IDPS, and WAF is essential.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI DSS, and other relevant regulatory frameworks is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.
• An eagerness to learn and acquire new skills is expected.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are required.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is necessary.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical expertise is required.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams are essential.
