Description:

  • You ensure the operation and availability of our complete network infrastructure, including the maintenance of operational concepts and technical documentation.
  • You work closely with HCOB IT-Security in analyzing and assessing vulnerabilities and coordinating appropriate measures.
  • You coordinate our technical service providers and partners who assist in the development and operation of our network infrastructure.
  • You are part of a highly motivated team that constantly seeks optimizations and automations and continuously develops itself and the products used.
  • You assist in resolving incidents as part of 2nd-level support and ensure the execution of network-related changes, considering agreed SLAs.
  • You are responsible for the operation of monitoring and logging solutions and continuously optimize them.
  • You are the point of contact for internal units as well as external providers on all network-related topics.
  • You support the operation and further development of our DevOps environments (Terraform, Jfrog, etc.).

Requirements:

  • You have successfully completed your relevant university degree in (business) computer science or have acquired equivalent knowledge and skills through many years of relevant professional experience and further training.
  • Several years of professional experience in the operational IT network environment and proven knowledge in network protocols and techniques distinguish you.
  • You possess expert know-how in the network environment (VPN, NAT, Routing, Failover, VLANs, Loadbalancing, IDS, IPS, DNS, etc.).
  • Solid experience in implementing IT security-relevant technologies in the network environment, preferably in regulated environments, is required.
  • Consistent application of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is expected.
  • You have practical experience in Azure Cloud infrastructures.
  • You are characterized by independent, structured, and solution-oriented work.
  • You are an out-of-the-box thinker, performance-oriented, and a team player.
  • Very good language skills in German and English complete your profile.
