Description:
Collaborate with business leads and architects to understand business needs and design digital experience technologies accordingly.
Analyze business and user needs to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Work with internal peer teams to design roadmaps and ensure end-to-end robustness and scalability of code.
Identify coding standards to be leveraged in the development process and build consensus with peer engineering, product, and business teams on solution development and implementation.
Create functional strategies and specific objectives to ensure policies and procedures support the digital experience infrastructure.
Oversee architecture and digital experience technology development, particularly in customer sales, ordering functionalities, and billing processes.
Define standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain code quality while adopting Agile, DevOps, and other enablers to improve project delivery effectiveness.
Collaborate with business partners to build real-time sales/marketing campaigns aimed at improving conversion rates and overall customer satisfaction.
Create models and diagrams showing proposed digital experience design for platforms.
Execute data modeling and performance analysis to drive digital experience system enhancements and productivity.
Create documentation related to system architecture, design steps, integration processes, and testing procedures.
Support day-to-day digital experience operations, guiding others to assess system usage trends and identify potential performance constraints.
Assist developers, testers, and support personnel to enhance, support, and maintain the digital experience architecture.
Drive the addition of features to the digital experience architecture based on business and user needs.
Maintain consistent and effective use of style guidelines and UI components.
Partner with the quality assurance team to resolve defects and ensure a superior user experience.
Implement system testing, evaluate results, and engage with business partners and peers to identify opportunities for improvement in digital and user experience.
Track industry trends and leverage data to drive innovation and solution excellence across various functional domains.
Conduct market research to ensure technology operates in line with direct competitors.
The position is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, with the option for telecommuting from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field is required.
Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Systems Engineer or in a related role within the telecommunications industry is required.
Experience must include executing end-to-end UI/Web application architecture and design using JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, and React frameworks.
Proficiency in JSON, Java, UNIX, XML, Oracle database, and Jenkins is required.
Experience in designing and developing Angular and React reusable components and implementing designs based on requirements specifications is necessary.
Must have experience in designing and developing Microservices architecture for backend interactions, designing backend tables, and fine-tuning SQL queries for optimal user experience.
Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployments is required.
