Remote JAVA AWD Developer

Description:

• The role is for a JAVA AWD Developer with 15+ years of IT experience, specifically in the insurance domain.
• The developer will work off of the AWD Admin requirements to perform unit testing, support business UAT, and deploy/implement BAU projects.
• Responsibilities include configuring and coding API updates for the AWD ToolKit, AWD Custom Code, NSImport, and NetServer, utilizing technologies such as VB6, JAVA, .NET, HTML, SQL, XML, REST, and SOAP services, along with integration with other peripheral TA applications.
• The position requires providing post-implementation and production support for the AWD Admin, including incident ticket resolution as needed.
• Daily monitoring and support of AWD Custom Email, NSImport/NetServer, AWD custom code, and other peripheral AWD applications are essential.
• The developer will provide audit support for internal TA project audits and regulatory compliance requests.
• Responsibilities also include supporting patching and coding changes for AWD-related servers and infrastructure, which may involve Windows, Linux, JAVA, and Microsoft updates.
• The position requires AWD integration development skills, not just AWD admin skills, with a strong emphasis on .NET or Java skills as prerequisites.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 15+ years of IT experience, particularly in the insurance domain.
• Strong experience with AWD Admin requirements is necessary for performing unit testing and supporting business UAT.
• Proficiency in configuring and coding API updates for various technologies, including VB6, JAVA, .NET, HTML, SQL, XML, REST, and SOAP services, is required.
• Experience in providing post-implementation and production support for incident ticket resolution is essential.
• Daily monitoring and support of AWD Custom Email, NSImport/NetServer, and other peripheral AWD applications are required.
• Candidates must be able to provide audit support for internal TA project audits and regulatory compliance requests.
