Develop one of the best trading platforms in the USA, serving over 200k online users daily across desktops, mobile, and web.
Responsible for backend services handling all trading-related business processes such as order issuing, validation, routing, execution, option price calculation, and reconciliation.
Focus on high performance, low-latency, and fault tolerance, ensuring code quality through careful code reviews and various testing methods.
Work in a Scrum/Kanban environment using tools like Atlassian suite, Slack, TeamCity, Sonar, Docker, etc.
Collaborate in multi-cultural and distributed teams consisting of BE engineers, QAs, FEs, BAs.
Utilize technologies like Java 11+, Spring, JUnit5, Docker, PostgreSQL, Liquibase, Splunk.

Requirements:

Passion for coding in Java.
Understanding of Java (J2SE) platform, including threads, collections, streams, memory, and garbage collector.
Knowledge of computer science data structures, algorithms, and complexities.
Ability to optimize, document, and maintain code while ensuring thorough test coverage.
Willingness to see ideas through from proof of concept to production-ready code.
Result-oriented mindset, teamwork skills, and ability to provide/accept constructive feedback.
B1+ English proficiency for effective communication with multicultural teams and US customers.
Experience in trading and capital markets.
Proficiency in concurrent programming and thread synchronization.
Familiarity with distributed systems, emphasizing performance and reliability.
Understanding of asynchronous communications.
Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux.
