Devexperts is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join the Research & Development Team.
The role involves working on a leading trading platform in the USA with over 200,000 daily users across various devices.
Responsibilities include managing trading-related processes like order issuance, validation, execution, and reconciliation with a focus on performance, low latency, and fault tolerance.
The team operates in a Scrum/Kanban environment using tools like Atlassian suite, Slack, TeamCity, Sonar, Docker, etc.
The tech stack includes Java 11+, Spring, Docker, PostgreSQL, among others.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for Java coding, understanding of Java platform internals, knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and a result-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-have skills include experience in trading, concurrent programming, distributed systems, and Unix/Linux knowledge.

Requirements:

Passion for coding in Java.
Understanding of Java platform internals like threads, collections, streams, memory, and garbage collector.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and their complexities.
Ability to optimize, document, and maintain code with thorough testing.
Willingness to take ideas from proof of concept to production-ready code.
Result-oriented mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
B1+ English proficiency for effective communication in multicultural teams and with US customers.
