Remote Java Backend Developer

Description:

• Devexperts is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join the Research & Development Team.
• The role involves working on a leading trading platform in the USA with over 200,000 daily users.
• Responsibilities include handling trading-related processes like order issuance, validation, and reconciliation.
• Emphasis on high performance, low latency, and fault tolerance.
• Code quality ensured through code reviews and various testing methods.
• Work in a Scrum/Kanban environment using tools like Atlassian suite, Slack, TeamCity, Sonar, Docker, etc.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams consisting of backend engineers, QAs, FEs, BAs, and others.
• Tech stack includes Java 11+, Spring, Docker, PostgreSQL, among others.

Requirements:

• Passion for Java coding.
• Understanding of Java platform internals like threads, collections, and memory management.
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to optimize, document, and test code thoroughly.
• Willingness to see ideas through from concept to production.
• Team player with a result-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (B1+) for multicultural team communication.
• Nice-to-have: background in trading, concurrent programming, distributed systems, asynchronous communications, and Unix/Linux knowledge.
