Description:

  • The Java Backend Developer position at Nisum is for candidates residing in Latin America with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Required expertise includes:
    • Proven experience in Java, minimum 6 years, with knowledge of Java 8 or higher. Java certification is desirable.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in developing and designing Microservices.
    • Integration experience with Web Services SOAP.
    • Knowledge of API/Restful design.
    • Proficiency in SpringBoot and solid understanding of the Spring framework, including Spring Security.
    • Experience in nodeJS.
    • Familiarity with design patterns such as Circuit Breaker, SAGA, Choreography, Orchestrat.
  • Additional requirements involve knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in CI/CD practices, including version control using Git/Git-Flow, various testing types, Code Review practices, DevOps culture, and toolchain DevOps.
  • Security-related competencies encompass secure development culture, proactive handling of vulnerabilities, cryptographic data management, familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, understanding of SDLC, and awareness of third-party libraries and associated risks.

Requirements:

  • Reside in Latin America.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Java, Microservices, Web Services SOAP, API/Restful design, SpringBoot, Spring framework, nodeJS, and design patterns.
  • Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD practices, including version control, testing, Code Review, DevOps culture, and toolchain DevOps.
  • Understanding of security practices, vulnerability management, cryptographic data handling, and third-party library risks.
