  • Nisum is seeking a Java Backend Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the role.
  • The position is remote and open to candidates residing in Latin America.
  • Candidates should have proven experience in Java (minimum 4 years) and knowledge of Java 8 or higher, with a desirable certification in Java.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the development and design of Microservices is required.
  • Experience integrating Web Services SOAP and knowledge of API/Restful design is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience in SpringBoot and solid knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Security.
  • Experience in NodeJS and knowledge of design patterns (Circuit Breaker, SAGA, Choreography, Orchestration) is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and experience with Kubernetes is expected.
  • Knowledge of agile work methodologies is essential.
  • Experience in version control using Git/Git-Flow and testing (unit, integration, and performance) is required.
  • Candidates should be familiar with Code Review practices (manual or automated) and have knowledge of DevOps culture and toolchain.
  • A proactive approach to security in development, including handling vulnerabilities and data security (cryptographic handling), is necessary.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, knowledge of the SDLC, and understanding the risks associated with third-party libraries are required.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in Latin America.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java is required, with knowledge of Java 8 or higher; certification in Java is desirable.
