Remote Java Developer

Description:

• Bright Vision Technologies has an immediate opportunity for a Java Developer based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
• This position is remote and is a contracted role for experienced candidates.
• The job title is Java Developer and it is located in Sunnyvale, CA.
• Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position.
• Candidates with OPT, EAD, GC, USC, and H1B transfers are eligible to apply.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience developing web-based applications, with ideally 10+ years.
• A minimum of 8 years of development experience in Java/J2EE technologies is required, with ideally 10+ years.
• Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries, particularly the Executor framework, is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
• Experience in using and implementing RESTful web services is required.
• Familiarity with JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat is necessary.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, and Angular is required.
• Knowledge of AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery is essential.
• Candidates should have knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• A strong understanding of SQL database design and stored procedures is required.
• Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions is necessary.
• Candidates must have a good understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Familiarity with web application security considerations is required.
• Candidates should be self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail, are necessary.
• Prior experience developing property & casualty applications is a plus.
