Remote Java Developer

Description:

• They are looking for a Mid to Senior level Java Developer to join their team of technologists.

• Participation in regular status calls and quarterly business reviews is expected.
• The developer will maintain, test, and document the legacy Java code base.
• Building interactive web applications, APIs, and algorithms based on AWS is part of the job.
• The role includes optimizing for performance and security.
• The developer will work with a team of engineers to help meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience working in the IT industry is required.
• A degree in Computer Science or a similar subject is necessary.
• Strong Java and Core Java programming skills are essential.
• The candidate must have strong back-end experience.
• Experience in Machine Learning & Deep Learning (NLP) will be a significant plus.
• Solid AWS experience, specifically with EC2 and S3, is required.
• At least 1 year of AWS experience is necessary, including familiarity with ElasticSearch, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Athena, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Knowledge of API platforms is required.
• The candidate must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
