Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is seeking experienced technology professionals to join their team.
The position is for a Java Developer with expertise in backend development and experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
The role involves building scalable and reliable backend systems, integrating with databases, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Java, deploying applications on AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and collaborating with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation.
The candidate will participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and architectural discussions while following agile development practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Hands-on experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk and cloud-based deployments is required.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases and scalable data architecture design is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes, build tools, and DevOps best practices is necessary.
Experience in agile software development environments is a must.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
