Description:

  • Limina IMS is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their remote team and contribute to the development of a new market data microservice.
  • The role involves working with microservices architecture and integrating the Bloomberg API, requiring expertise in Java and experience with distributed systems.
  • The candidate will collaborate closely with the chief architect and financial engineer while having the freedom to make technical decisions within established guidelines.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and enhancing microservices using Java, designing and implementing a new market data microservice integrated with Bloomberg API, and improving system efficiency and scalability in collaboration with the architecture team.
  • The position is part of a distributed, remote team of approximately 10 developers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have senior-level experience in Java development.
  • A strong background in microservices architecture is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft services and cloud-based environments is necessary.
  • Experience with Bloomberg API integration or similar financial market data APIs is essential.
  • The ability to work independently and improve system architecture is required.
  • It is preferred that candidates are based in a European timezone for easier collaboration.
  • Experience with Golang is considered a nice to have.
