The position is for a Java Developer working remotely from anywhere in the world.
The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing new game features for a football manager simulation game.
Responsibilities include collaborating with designers and developers to enhance gameplay, maintaining and optimizing server-side game logic, handling database management, ensuring server performance, and ensuring the game’s scalability.
The work environment is remote-first and offers flexibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with Java 11 or higher.
A solid experience with SmartFoxServer 2X is required.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and multithreading is necessary.
Experience working with distributed systems is essential.
Familiarity with Hazelcast and Protobuf is considered a plus.
The ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a remote team is required.
