Remote Java Developer (Workday & API Integration)

Description:

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Java Developer with expertise in Workday and API integration to join our team.
• You will work on integrating various systems with Workday and other SaaS platforms, supporting clients in the potential adoption of Salesforce or similar technologies.
• This role will require wearing multiple hats, from development to integration, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
• We are looking for someone with 4 to 6 years of development experience who is eager to step into a leadership role in the near future.
• Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and integration of SaaS applications, particularly Workday and potentially Salesforce, ensuring seamless interaction with existing systems.
• You will build and integrate APIs to connect various systems, enhancing data flow and functionality across platforms.
• You will work closely with other developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet the organization's needs.
• You will contribute to the implementation of new SaaS solutions, ensuring they are properly integrated with existing business systems.
• You will demonstrate leadership potential with the ability to grow into a lead developer role, mentoring junior developers and guiding project directions.
• You will address and resolve issues with SaaS applications, APIs, and system integrations to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4-6 years of development experience in IT is required.
• A degree in Computer Science or a similar field is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Workday and related SaaS development platforms is essential.
• Strong API development and integration skills, with a deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP services, are required.
• Experience with Salesforce, Workday, or other enterprise SaaS platforms is a strong plus.
• Strong Java programming skills are mandatory.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices is preferred.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wear multiple hats is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated potential to grow into a leadership role within the team is necessary.
