Remote Java Engineer (Mid-Senior)

Description:

• Umpisa Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to implement a new middleware application for digital transformation projects.
• The candidate must have deep Java development experience, understand distributed systems and enterprise architecture, and possess strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience with wireless telecoms provisioning, billing, and remediation implementations is beneficial.
• Responsibilities include designing and delivering components within middleware platforms, developing with Java 11 on the Spring Framework for Kubernetes, writing and managing test cases in JUNIT, participating in code reviews, and supporting release packages in QA and production.
• The position involves working with management on timelines, quality, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JEE, JAX-RS, Object-Oriented Design Patterns, and Development Methodologies (Iterative, Agile).
• Experience with implementing cloud-native solutions on Kubernetes using SpringBoot.
• Proficiency in distributed source control systems like git, github, or bitbucket.
• Previous experience working in a collaborative, distributed, and remote environment.
• Must be a resilient and results-oriented team player with a strong work ethic.
