• The role is for a Java Full Stack Engineer, which is a remote, full-time position for experienced individuals.
• The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and will work alongside product teams, UX designers, software engineers, and QA to define product requirements and design solutions.
• Responsibilities include building user interfaces, mentoring junior developers, establishing coding standards, and implementing software design patterns and best practices.
• The candidate will also implement test fixtures, acceptance tests, and unit tests to drive development.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have Java full-stack experience, including modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Proven experience in a full-stack capacity with relational database systems such as MySQL and SQL Server is required.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and with REST and JSON is necessary.
• The candidate should have experience collaborating with QA and product management teams.
• Experience working with a diverse employee base across remote and local environments is essential.
• The candidate must be able to understand and navigate a legacy code base.
• Experience with JavaScript unit testing libraries, CI/CD tools (TeamCity), and version control systems (Github) is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile development methodologies and expertise in root cause analysis, performance diagnostics, and issue resolution in cloud-based or enterprise environments is required.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures is nice to have.
• Certification as a Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is a plus.
