The role is for a Java Mid-Senior Software Developer, working remotely in a full-time capacity.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience and will be responsible for leading design and team efforts.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the Product team, UX, software engineers, and QA to define product requirements and design solutions.
The developer will work in an agile environment to build sophisticated user interfaces and mentor junior developers.
The role involves establishing coding standards, implementing software design patterns, and conducting testing to drive development.
Requirements:
Candidates must have Java full-stack experience, including modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
Proven experience in a full-stack capacity with relational database systems such as MySQL and SQL Server is required.
Experience working in an Agile environment and with REST and JSON is necessary.
Candidates should have experience collaborating with QA and product management teams.
Familiarity with navigating a legacy code base and experience with JavaScript unit testing libraries is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity) and version control systems (Github) is required.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the role of Engineers within Agile teams is essential.
Expertise in root cause analysis, performance diagnostics, and issue resolution in cloud-based or enterprise environments is needed.
Nice to have experience with cloud platforms (AWS), distributed systems, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
