Description:

The Java Software Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
This role involves participating in code reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and enforcing coding standards and best practices.
The engineer will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends is essential, as well as evaluating their potential impact on applications and architecture.
Collaboration with other teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product Management, is necessary to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software releases.
The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and provide timely support to resolve production incidents.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

The candidate must have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML, CSS, Oracle, SQL, Boomi, RabbitMQ, Secure Enclave, MongoDB, Postgres, Vue 3, and Typescript.
A strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices is required.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is essential.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements is necessary.

The position offers the flexibility of remote work from the Dominican Republic.
