Remote Java Software Engineer

• Jitterbit is seeking Senior backend engineers to join their Platform team, focusing on iPaaS and API Management.

• Engineers will work with technologies such as Java, Nginx, Tomcat, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Redis, MySQL, Linux, C++, Apache, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Responsibilities include full lifecycle management to create robust, scalable, and distributed systems that operate 24x7x365.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed applications.
• Strong experience in building multi-tenant SaaS applications is required.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns is necessary.
• Proficiency in Java is essential.
• Experience with Linux is required.
• Substantial experience with top-tier RDBMS such as SQL Server and MySQL is needed.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat and Nginx is required.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is necessary.
• Experience with C++ and Apache Server is a significant plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills are mandatory.
• Candidates should be capable of working in a distributed team and excelling in a remote culture.
• Self-driven individuals who can work on key initiatives and make data-driven decisions are preferred.
