Description:

  • HICX, a leading provider of enterprise SaaS solutions, is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join their Technical Services Team.
  • The role involves working on customer implementations on a highly workflow-driven platform that utilizes modern and scalable technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Java programming experience, a BSc in Computer Science, and proficiency in English.
  • Responsibilities include application design, software development, maintenance, and collaboration with team members.
  • The position requires knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Scripting languages like Groovy, SQL, web standards, automated testing practices, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Desirable skills include experience with CI/CD, Dev Ops, Spring, Hibernate, Docker, Kubernetes, J2EE Technologies, and front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional Java programming experience
  • BSc in Computer Science or related field
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and exchange information with colleagues
  • Solid understanding of engineering best practices
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming techniques
  • Familiarity with Scripting languages like Groovy
  • Proficiency in SQL and database systems (e.g., Postgresql, MySQL)
  • Understanding of web standards (HTML, JavaScript)
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new frameworks and technologies
  • Attention to detail and creativity in process improvement and meeting business requirements
  • Experience with automated test practices, REST APIs, and Microservices
  • Familiarity with Cloud provider technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Passion for Software Engineering, Innovation, and challenging the status quo
