Remote Java Software Engineer - Remote (Req. #688, 689-1, 689-2)

Description:

• Mindex is seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity.
• This role is available through Summer and has opened due to accelerated growth and expanding needs with customers.
• The position involves understanding customer requirements and developing tasks to accurately reflect those requirements.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing technical software solutions, writing and performing testing, and assisting in determining the scope for testing requirements.
• The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with team members and customers to ensure effective implementation of solutions.
• Documentation of each aspect of a systems application is required.
• Ongoing support and enhancements for new and existing systems and platforms will be provided.
• A curiosity to learn and advance relevant technical knowledge is essential.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Candidates must have three to five years of software development experience in Java.
• A minimum of two years of experience with JavaScript and React is necessary.
• Experience with enterprise development in an Agile environment is required.
• Familiarity with an RDBMS such as Oracle or MongoDB is needed.
• Candidates should have experience with Microservices and REST web services.
• Proficiency with issue tracking software like Jira is required.
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is essential.
