Provectus is seeking a talented Java Tech Lead to join their team, focusing on helping companies adopt ML/AI technologies.
The position is fully remote and available in Bogotá, Medellín, or San Jose.
The Java Tech Lead will lead a new team and work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Spring Boot applications on Kubernetes, architecting robust APIs, overseeing database management, and implementing monitoring systems.
The role requires effective team leadership, technical guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in architecting scalable, high-performance applications for high-load environments.
Expert knowledge in Java 11+ and/or Kotlin development.
Strong experience with Spring Boot.
Proficiency in containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in migration tools and database schema design.
Knowledge of serverless frameworks and AWS services, with experience in designing cloud-based applications.
Proficiency in monitoring and metrics tools such as Kibana, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Prometheus.
Solid understanding of GitLab and GitLab pipelines for version control and CI/CD.
Basic exposure to ReactJS and front-end development.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team of engineers.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
Fluent English communication skills for client interactions and team coordination.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with OpenSearch, performance testing tools, Apache Kafka, and Reactor.
