Remote Java Tech Lead Developer

Description:

• Bright Vision Technologies has an immediate contract to hire opportunity for a Java Tech Lead Developer based out of Water Street, NY.
• The position is remote and is suitable for experienced candidates.
• The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates must have proven experience of 12+ years in an Engineering role and at least 3 years in an Engineering/Technical lead role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
• The candidate should have demonstrated experience in delivering complex enterprise-grade software solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 12+ years of experience in Java J2EE building web applications, including spring technologies/frameworks such as Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, and Spring Boot.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with related frameworks and technologies, including Hibernate, Restful services, Spring JDBC, and MVC, is required.
• Strong experience with Microservices, Spring Boot/Spring framework, Rest API, and JPA is necessary.
• Candidates should have 12+ years of experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including ES2016+.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with REACT tools, including React.js, Webpack, Redux, and Flux, is required.
• Experience with user interface design and knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest is essential.
• Candidates should have experience with browser-based debugging and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of system architecture (N-Tire, Microservices, Cloud-native) is required.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles for scalable, high-performance, and extensible solutions for enterprise-grade distributed and services systems is necessary.
• Significant knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL is required.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Tomcat, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, is necessary.
• Working experience with Spring Boot application configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting on server platforms such as Oracle WebLogic/Tomcat/Cloud is required.
• Experience with API management and Cloud-based platforms and services (AWS, Google) is necessary.
• A working knowledge of Dev-Ops tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development practices as well as Automation and Unit Testing is essential.
• Strong analytical skills are necessary.
• Candidates should have a working knowledge of system observability/monitoring and alerting.
• Experience architecting and developing large-scale enterprise applications is required.
• Proficiency with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile and Test-driven development is necessary.
• Any experience in building applications for the financial industry is a plus.
