We are looking for a skilled and experienced Java Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of developers while driving the design and development of enterprise-grade applications.
This role requires a deep understanding of Java, AWS, and microservices, with strong leadership skills to guide the team toward delivering state-of-the-art solutions.
Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
The Java Team Lead will design and develop enterprise-grade, high-volume web applications and platforms.
The role involves implementing microservices in an AWS-based architecture using Java and Spring technologies.
The Java Team Lead will oversee technical designs, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
Collaboration with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives is essential.
The position also requires performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Requirements:

Minimum Academic Training: Complete university education, equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
Primary Area of Training: Computer Science, Systems, or related Engineering.
Secondary Area of Training: Software development, focused on Java and AWS.
Candidates must have 6+ years in software development roles.
At least 2 years of experience as a Team or Technical Lead is required.
Proven experience designing and developing microservices in AWS-based architectures is necessary.
Must-have technical knowledge includes Java and Spring.
Candidates should have experience with microservice implementations in AWS.
Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium is also required.

The position offers an indefinite contract.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (GMT-6).
This is a fully remote position, allowing candidates to work 100% from home, provided they reside or can travel within LATAM.
