Remote JavaScript Engineer

Description:

• The role involves building and maintaining high-performance, modular JavaScript libraries used across various projects.
• You will write reusable, clean, and efficient code following modern best practices.
• Collaboration with the engineering team and contributions to open-source initiatives, technical blogs, and community discussions are expected.
• You will ensure optimal performance and compatibility across modern and legacy browsers.
• The position requires owning features end-to-end—from architecture to deployment and maintenance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3–6 years in software development, with a strong emphasis on JavaScript is required.
• Deep knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is essential.
• Practical experience using TypeScript in production-level codebases is necessary.
• A solid understanding of the DOM, browser APIs, events, and canvas rendering is required.
• A strong focus on performance tuning and delivering fast, efficient user experiences is expected.
• Experience in writing modular, maintainable code is necessary.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging abilities are required.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress or similar frameworks is needed.
• A commitment to test-driven development and code quality is essential.
• A continuous learner who keeps up with evolving frontend trends is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude are necessary.
• A love for clean, performant code and solving tough problems is appreciated.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical writing are a big plus.
