Remote JavaScript Engineer

Description:

• As a JavaScript Engineer at impact.com, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting features for various widgets and functionality on customers' web pages, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and versions.
• You will work in an Agile/Scrum team to innovate based on the Impact platform, reviewing business requirements, designing, implementing, and testing solutions, as well as performing code reviews.
• Your role involves gaining a deep understanding of the business and product domain, providing transparency through daily Scrums, and addressing system vulnerabilities and technology blockers.
• You will optimize code, streamline processes, respond to alerts, fix bugs promptly, work in a distributed and agile environment, and focus on continuous improvement of developer productivity.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in web development or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep knowledge and experience in front-end web development technologies such as JavaScript (without any framework), CSS, and HTML.
• Knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
